At Martin Chiropractic Clinic in Plano, we start with a screening exam to see if we can help you. Followed by a detailed diagnostic examination, digital x-rays (if needed), to develop a treatment plan we believe best to get you quick and long lasting relief, along with plan options. On your follow-up visit, we'll sit down with you and explain in detail all the findings, show you your x-rays, and explain your options for care.
Discuss your symptoms with the doctor, and then the doctor will do a hands-on palpation exam and simple tests to get an idea if we might be able to help you.
Our diagnostic exam includes: orthopedic and neurological tests, range of motion of your spine or affected joints, and photos to analyze your posture and spinal curves.
Digital x-rays may be performed if they're indicated. X-rays include more details about your condition and the biomechanics of your spine.
We'll review all your findings and develop a plan that we think is best to get a quick and long lasting recovery, as well as options that might be available.
A detailed consultation with the doctor to review the recommended treatment plan, what options are available, timelines, and costs to help you make a decision to proceed.
We look at areas causing your pain and the associated areas that might be involved- generally checking the whole spine and the joints in your extremities that may be related to your symptoms.
We use the best available research and scientific evidence, as well as clinical experience of our doctors and colleagues, and your expectations and values as a patient.
Before beginning detailed care, we always work to create a treatment plan and identify available options in care whether we need to refer you to a different provider (if appropriate) or provide the care at MCC.
